Grade A Petroleum's private delivery fleet consists of modern delivery vans with tailgates and 4,500 gallon, bulk tankers
designed specifically for lubricant deliveries, including separate pump/hose systems and "drain dry" manifolds. Tankers are all inspected
by the City of New York and Nassau County Weights & Measures. To facilitate delivery, less than truckload items and emergency
requests may be shipped through UPS, Fedex or private delivery services, while some out-of-state shipments are made directly by
Grade A Petroleum delivers quality products and practical solutions. Our professional team of technical experts has the
training and experience to identify the most effective and efficient ways to serve you.
Because of our long-time relationships with premier vendors and suppliers, Grade A Petroleum has immediate access to
a comprehensive line of products. As we work with you, we can anticipate your needs and assist in inventory management.
We also maintain a 1,000,000 gallon diesel fuel operation, as a result of our commitment to customer/service for a
few select, long-term clients.
Inventory Controls for Quality and Safety
Grade A Petroleum's operations follow a qualified and approved DPQAP-Distributor Product Quality Assurance Program,
developed in-house and based on those advocated/approved by the Phillips66, Shell & Exxon Distributor programs.
Along with inventory controls, record keeping and sampling, weekly testing by Underwriter's Laboratory and periodic inspections
by our suppliers ensures quality and safety. Employee safety and driver training classes are conducted on a strict schedule.
Versatile Product Form
Grade A Petroleum delivers products in bulk, tote, drum, pail or case packaging. We find the most efficient way to
purchase and package products — whether in final form from the supplier or repackaged at our facility. In general, engine oils,
hydraulics and gear oil are purchased in bulk and repackaged, while industrial oils, grease and synthetics are factory packaged.
Customer Training, Plant/Fleet Surveys/Lubricant Analysis
Grade A Petroleum conducts seminars relating to industry advancements, product training, technical tips, etc., for current and potential
clients both in-house and with our suppliers' representatives, featuring industry notables from lubricant and coolant firms.
Our professional Territory Managers, in conjunction with our suppliers' representatives, conduct plant and fleet lubricant
requirement surveys – and then assist in the implementation of any recommendations. Our Territory Managers receive on going
training and are specialists in their field. We furnish, install and service lubricant dispensing equipment designed to enhance
